If you have installed your unit for the first time and are not seeing it on the Xact website, there was likely an issue during the calibration or commissioning process.

To troubleshoot this, go through the following steps:

  1. Make sure the device has no objects interfering with its overhead line of site to the sky (for example: overhanging trees).
  2. Verify the battery is strong enough. Batteries should be at least 6.5v for ultrasonic units and 6v for Gauge Readers to ensure they are strong enough to send messages to the satellite.
  3. Attempt to both recalibrate and recommission the unit.
